Papers and photographs relating to Aaron Krebs, a staff sergeant in the Air Force during the N.A.T.O. peacekeeping operations in Kosovo. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence between Krebs and his wife, Lynn Oosterhous Krebs, during his service in the Air Force. Krebs described his experiences in basic training at Keesler Air Force Base and his later, more advanced training as a weather observer for the Air Force. Krebs also wrote letters home during his in Kosovo; describing the day-to-day activities overseas. The collection also includes photocopies of Krebs's military records, letters of commendation from his superiors, certificates of achievement, his basic training manual from Keesler, and an issue of the 375th Operation Support Squadron (O.S.S.) Newsletter. The photographs include many shots of Krebs's room and hallmates from Keesler Air Force Base as well as some scenic shots from Kosovo.
